About Me

I'm a writer and an educator.  I write Young Adult and children's books.  I've worked with students of all ages, from preschool through college.

I volunteer with local animal rescue organizations and am passionate about cat rescue.  I have one rabbit, Knuffle Bunny (who sometimes stars as an irascible, grumpy rabbit named Tyrabbisaurus Rex) and five cats, all of whom are rescues.

I love to read and find that books are a lovely way to procrastinate.  As a writer, of course, I get to call it research. Books are the lifeblood of any good writer and thus, you could say that I'm an overindulged, spoiled rotten, glutton.
